Day 2 Reminders

Parents of McKinley,
Thank you for helping get off to a great start to our school year! Your patience and adherence to procedures helped things run smoothly and keep kids safe. As we continue with the school year, here are some reminders to keep drop-off, pick-up and walk-ups running smoothly.
When pulling up to the parent drop-off please have students ready to get out of the car on the passenger side of the vehicle. Parents please stay in your car to keep the line moving quickly.
The parent pick-up line will continue to get faster as we continue to learn the routine and all parents have KidAccount cards.
Bus departure will also continue to get smoother and faster as we get to know students and bus routes.
Parent walk-ups are on the west side of the building. These students will be dismissed AFTER all buses have departed. Again, this is to ensure a safe route for the bus drivers and safety for students and parents walking on Highland Street.
If you are not a walker (live in the neighborhood) we are encouraging you to use the car rider line to ensure students safety and eliminate unnecessary congestion on Highland Street for our departing buses.
